CutTheCord is a self-hosted communication platform built as an open-source alternative to Discord. It gives you full control over your server, your data, and your privacy. Deploy it on your own hardware or a VPS and invite your community — no corporate middlemen, no data harvesting, no arbitrary moderation policies you did not agree to.
Built with modern technologies (React, Fastify, PostgreSQL, Redis, LiveKit), it delivers real-time text chat, voice calls, and video calls in a familiar interface that anyone comfortable with Discord will immediately understand.
